Hygiene and health company Essity has appointed Anand Chandarana as president of Business Unit Health & Medical. He will assume the role on September 1, 2025, and will also join the company’s Executive Management Team.

Chandarana has been with Essity and the business unit Health & Medical since 2020, most recently as vice president Commercial Development. He has previously worked 17 years and held several senior positions at the medical solutions company Mölnlycke Health Care.

Chandarana will report to Kolsrud. He is a citizen of both the U.K. and Sweden and will be based in Gothenburg.
